This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, managing administrative teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and enhancing patient care experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management, dental office operations, and team supervision, driving efficiency and excellence across all aspects of the practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape operational success while fostering a positive environment for staff and patients alike. Duties Lead the overall management of dental clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction. Supervise administrative staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth daily workflows and high-quality service delivery. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, coding, and revenue cycle management using systems like
OPEN DENTAL.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations includingHIPAA, OSHA
standards, and state/federal health policies through regular audits and staff training. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and patient management software to maintain accurate medical records and streamline documentation processes. Coordinate staffing schedules, human resources functions, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and compliant team environment. Implement practice management strategies that improve patient experience, optimize clinic efficiency, and support growth initiatives. Skills Extensive experience in medical office management within dental or healthcare settings with a focus on clinic operations. Proficiency in dental-specific software such asOPEN DENTAL
; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and revenue cycle oversight. Proven supervisory experience managing healthcare teams in fast-paced environments with excellent managerial communication skills. Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations and health policy requirements such as OSHA accreditation standards. Ability to navigate medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health record systems efficiently. Excellent customer service skills combined with critical care experience to support patient needs effectively. Competence in office management tasks such as scheduling, staff training, human resources functions, and practice development strategies. Familiarity with managed care processes, utilization management protocols, and healthcare practice management best practices.
