Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Clinic Administrator to lead the daily operations of our healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical and administrative functions, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a seamless patient experience. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision to foster an efficient, compliant, and patient-centered environment. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. Duties Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to ensure smooth daily functions. Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control using systems like OpenEMR or eClinicalWorks. Supervise medical administrative support staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and utilization management protocols. Oversee medical records management utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate with clinical teams such as nursing and allied health professionals to optimize practice management and patient care delivery. Monitor clinic performance metrics related to managed care, acute care, hospital experience standards, and dental clinic operations to improve efficiency and patient outcomes. Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial management, and billing procedures. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with OpenEMR is highly desirable. Supervisory experience leading teams in medical or dental office environments. In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and clinical workflows related to acute care or hospital settings. Ability to foster a positive team environment while maintaining high standards of practice management and office operations.
