Job Description

Position Details:
Guide patients through dental treatment plans, helping them understand procedures, benefits, and next steps. Coordinate scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and financial arrangements. Serve as the key connection between patients, dental providers, and support staff. Monitor treatment plans and follow up with patients to encourage continuity of care. Coordinate referrals, maintain patient records, and support efficient clinic operations. Assist with direct dental services and community-based programs, including I-Smile at School.
Qualifications:
Current Iowa Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification or licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Experience in a dental office, treatment coordination, dental assisting, or front office operations preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to build positive relationships with patients, providers, and community partners. Valid Iowa driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required.
