Bachelor's degree Healthcare practice operations management Healthcare IT Full Job Description Medical Office Manager The primary duties of the Medical Office Manager are to plan, coordinate, direct, and supervise various elements of our reputable and expanding neurology medical practice. The medical practice involves an office run by a physician and 2 mid-level providers with 10-14 employees and/or contractors. The office includes an EEG and sleep lab and planned infusion center. Job description of Medical Office Manager will include the following skills and responsibilities: Responsible for hiring and training office staff, supervising front desk and back office staff, implementing policies, and conducting regular performance reviews. Works closely with the providers and clinical staff. The manager will supervise scheduling, technical issues, daily patient flow, and staff issues. Will supervise scheduling EEG and Sleep studies, and maintain EEG/Sleep lab equipment and operation as per policies. Oversees the financial aspects of the business, billing, coding, collections and A/R reviews. Will ensure that the day-to-day business is handled according to office practices, State, local, Federal and medical guidelines. Possess strong written and verbal communication. Experience in health information technology, HCPC, ICD-10 coding, clinical practice improvement required. At least 2 years of experience managing a Practice of 10+ staff. E-clinical and MIPS experience preferred. High School Diploma a must, bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred.
