Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinic Administrator, where you'll lead the efficient operation of our medical or dental clinic. This vital role combines strategic management with hands-on oversight, ensuring smooth daily functions, exceptional patient experiences, and compliance with healthcare regulations. As a Clinic Administrator, you'll be the driving force behind clinic success, fostering a positive environment for staff and patients alike. Your expertise in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision will empower our clinic to deliver outstanding care and operational excellence. Duties Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and resource allocation using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership in human resources activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and JCAHO standards while maintaining accurate medical records and managing EMR/EHR systems Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize practice management workflows and support medical administrative functions like utilization management and medical terminology accuracy Implement policies for office management, including inventory control, vendor relations, and facility maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient environment Monitor clinic performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in clinical operations, patient care quality, and financial health Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management within a clinical setting; dental office experience is highly desirable Strong supervisory skills with previous experience leading teams in a healthcare environment Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems, our EMR is easy to learn; familiarity with dental software like Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial oversight, billing procedures, and managed care processes Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Background in acute care or hospital settings is advantageous; veterinary or critical care experience can be considered a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare providers, staff members, patients, and external partners Join us as a Clinic Administrator to lead with energy and purpose!
