About Revival Dentistry Revival Dentistry is a premier, privately owned, growing practice located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, high-end restorative and surgical dentistry while taking incredible care of the people sitting in our chairs. To support our next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to step into a true leadership role and run the day-to-day business of the clinic. The Opportunity This is not a standard front-desk coordinator position. This role is designed for a leader. You will work directly one-on-one with the owner-doctor, receiving high-level mentorship while being granted the autonomy to independently solve problems, enforce systems, and manage the team. As the owner shifts focus toward high-level strategy and clinical expansion, you will be the operational leader on the floor. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Manage the day-to-day flow of the clinic, ensuring the schedule is highly productive, efficient, and stress-free for the clinical team.
Human Resources & Payroll:
Oversee all staff hiring, onboarding, conflict resolution, and weekly payroll processing.
Systems & Accountability:
Enforce office policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor daily/weekly KPIs and generate production vs. collection reports.
Revenue Cycle Management:
Ensure PPO/FFS billing, claims submission, and A/R aging reports are managed flawlessly.
Problem Solving:
Act as the primary gatekeeper for the practice, independently resolving patient escalations and operational bottlenecks before they reach the owner.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
A strict minimum of 2-3 years of explicit management experience in a dental setting (5+ years is highly preferred).
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of all aspects of dentistry, including PPO insurance credentialing, billing, and high-value case presentation.
Leadership:
A proven track record of managing staff, holding team members accountable, and driving office culture.
Autonomy:
The ability to make confident, independent decisions and lead a team without requiring constant micro-management.
