Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a busy dental clinic with enthusiasm and precision. This vital role combines strong leadership, financial oversight, and administrative expertise to ensure the smooth functioning of our practice. As a key member of our team, you will foster a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike, driving efficiency and excellence in patient care. Your energetic approach and meticulous management skills will help us deliver outstanding dental services while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing, and insurance claims processing using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks Supervise administrative staff and dental team members, providing guidance in human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Monitor clinic performance metrics, implement process improvements, and handle patient complaints or escalations promptly to uphold high standards of care Coordinate with dental professionals on practice management strategies, utilization management, and ensuring adherence to JCAHO standards for quality assurance Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations to support efficient clinic operations Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or dental office experience with a strong understanding of dental clinic workflows Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in a healthcare setting Proficiency with practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with eClinicalWorks or Epic is a plus Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and managed care processes Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience in medical administrative support roles within clinics or hospitals is highly desirable Join us to lead a vibrant dental practice where your expertise makes a difference!
