Dental Office Manager Opportunity! Longwood Dental Group is an award-winning multi-specialty, multi-location dental practice offering state of the art dental technology and a comfortable working atmosphere. We presently have an opportunity at our Newton Smile Centre location for a Dental Office Manager. Newton Smile Centre is a long established practice with 2 doctors, hygienist and dental assistant; offering a comfortable work environment. This is a career opportunity with a successful and growing dental group. The Dental Office Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure the dental office operates smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. The Dental Office Manager oversees the daily operations and ensures systems and protocols are in place and functioning effectively. We are looking for an experienced dental office manager. Candidate must have a strong understanding of office flow in a busy dental office and must have excellent communication, leadership and implementation skills.
Dental Office Manager Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of dental administration experience Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills Dedicated to providing excellent customer service Must be friendly, approachable, professional, and highly organized Must have a solid understanding of dental billing and dental insurance procedures
Dental Office Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the dental office, maximizing patient scheduling and flow including productive full schedules for providers 2. Overseeing billing and collections, including managing insurance claims and working with patients to resolve any billing issues 3. Managing patient records, ensuring accuracy and maximizing collections on a daily basis 4. Implementing office policies and procedures and HIPAA compliance 5. Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed 6. Handling patient complaints and resolving issues as they arise 7. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with patients and staff Full Time Benefits include:
