In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Your leadership will drive efficiency, enhance patient satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of medical and administrative excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced healthcare setting, ensuring smooth practice management from front desk to clinical support. Duties Supervise and coordinate all administrative and clinical staff to promote a cohesive team environment Oversee fiscal management including budgeting, billing, collections, and financial reporting using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks Manage patient records efficiently through Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security Implement and monitor health regulation policies, JCAHO standards, and other compliance requirements to maintain accreditation status Handle human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution for healthcare staff Oversee appointment scheduling, patient management software, and ensure excellent customer service for all patients Maintain clinic operations by managing supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships Ensure adherence to medical billing procedures, coding accuracy, and insurance claim processing Facilitate communication between clinical teams, insurance providers, and patients to optimize care delivery Requirements Proven experience managing a dental or healthcare office with strong supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of medical office management practices including HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance policies Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with patient management software is essential Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and managed care processes Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to train staff and foster teamwork In-depth understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare practice policies Experience with hospital or acute care settings is a plus; veterinary or critical care experience is beneficial but not required Knowledge of health regulation policies such as JCAHO standards and utilization management practices Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies like Office 365 suite (Microsoft Office), EMR/EHR systems, and patient management tools Join us in shaping a vibrant dental practice where exceptional patient care meets efficient office management!
