Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Manager to join our team for part time hours up to three days a week. As a Medical Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical office, ensuring efficient and effective administrative processes. Your role will involve managing staff, coordinating patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Must have knowledge of worker's compensation and personal injury.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all administrative functions of the medical office
  • Supervise and train office staff, including receptionists and support staff
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely and accurate registration
  • Maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
Skills:
  • Previous experience in a medical office management role is required
  • Proficiency in managing medical records systems
  • Knowledge of human resources practices in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
