Job Description

ALLERGY WEST OFFICE - OUR MISSION
The Practice Manager is responsible for working with the Director of Practice Operations to oversee the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice, including practice profitability, revenue goals and CORE metrics. This includes acountability for clinical quality of care, customer satisfaction, staff satisfaction, productivity, revenue enhancement, managed care performance, staff leadership and assuring adequate access for patients.
Essential Job Functions:
This position is full-time.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Manages and oversees the daily site operations within the private practice; both clinical and administrative; creates benchmarks, tracks and reports progress, researches process improvements/efficiencies, recommends and implements change. Works with the Director of Practice Operations to develop the vision and direction of the practice in alignment with Pediatrics West, PC. Works with practice providers and practice management to develop, implement and manage a core work plan. Assures the highest quality of care is delivered by the practice Reviews practice risk assessment regularly Monitors continuing medical education of the team Ensures the patient satisfaction scores related to the office demonstrates continuous improvement.
Management Responsibilities:
Manage staff schedule and approve weekly time sheets for payroll Hire, train and monitor staff to ensure expectations are being met Monitor the medications and medical equipment and organize for resupply Establish and implement effective workplace procedures Facilitate adequate onboard training as well as continued professional development activities Screen and interview candidates for job openings Provide training and educational material for staff Ensure policies and best practices meet industry standards and compliance Interact with patients and address complaints Maintain updated medical records of patients as needed Maintain adequate office and medical supplies for the site Coordinate regular staff meetings and performance reviews Collaborates with executive management to develop business strategies and patient services Qualifications for Practice Manager Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or related field or 2 years minimum of relative healthcare management experience Proven experience working in a managerial position in a clinical or medical setting Strong understanding of healthcare administration and management Strong understanding of the visit and follow-up schedules Familiar with EMR for healthcare systems, EPIC experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent customer service with a patient focus Flexible to work some nights as needed Able to travel to meetings and attend conferences as necessary Able to sit, stand and move around for many hours at a time
