Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Administrator to join our team part time. The opportunity is currently for Monday through Wednesday, with an optional Thursday. Experience with processing insurance claims is required. You will be the first point of contact for patients, always providing exceptional service for our dental office. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and customer service expertise to ensure a smooth patient experience. Excellent phone etiquette is a must as well as knowledge of PPO dental insurances. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and insurance information. Verify insurance coverage Operate phone systems to answer calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages. Utilize dental software for managing patient information and scheduling. Assist with any additional tasks as needed to support the dental team. Skills Strong experience with phone systems to handle calls professionally. Knowledge of dental practice management software is preferred. Exceptional patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively with dental staff to ensure optimal patient care.
