Manager of Operations

Operating Room Location:
Lapeer, MI Duration:

13-week contract with possible extension

Schedule:

8-hour

Day Shifts Guaranteed Hours:

40 hours per week Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manager of Operations

  • Operating Room to provide leadership and operational oversight for the Operating Room department.

The ideal candidate will have strong OR management experience and the ability to lead clinical teams, support efficient operations, and maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Operating Room department. Manage daily OR operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow. Supervise and support clinical staff to ensure efficient and safe patient care. Monitor departmental performance, productivity, and operational goals. Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards. Support quality improvement initiatives and promote efficient use of resources. Assist with staff development, performance management, and operational planning. Requirements Minimum 3 years of Operating Room management experience

  • Required Active Michigan (MI) license
  • Required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Required Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Expected hours:

40.0 per week
