We are currently in an exciting stage of growth and expansion . In addition to growing our team and patient base, we are currently building a brand-new, state-of-the-art medical facility in Farmington Hills , located approximately five minutes from our current Novi location. Our new clinic is being designed from the ground up with high-end finishes, modern clinical spaces, new equipment and furnishings, and a comfortable, upscale environment for both patients and staff . The Practice Manager will have a dedicated private office in the new facility and will have the opportunity to play an important role in transitioning the practice into its new home and helping develop the systems and culture that will support our continued growth. We are looking for someone who is excited not simply to manage an established office, but to help us build an exceptional medical practice for the future . A Hands-On Leadership Role This is not simply an administrative or supervisory position. We are seeking a hands-on leader, exceptional multitasker, and proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, follows through, and makes sure things get done. Because our practice is still growing, our Practice Manager will be expected to participate in different roles throughout the clinic as needed , particularly while patient volume and staffing continue to expand. Clinical and administrative responsibilities may include: Rooming patients and preparing them for their visits Obtaining and documenting vital signs Administering allergy immunotherapy injections (allergy shots) after appropriate training and in accordance with practice protocols and applicable scope-of-practice requirements Assisting physicians and clinical staff with patient flow Learning the clinical workflows and procedures of the practice Helping the front office or other areas of the practice when needed Performing other clinical and administrative responsibilities appropriate to their training and role Previous experience administering allergy shots is preferred but not required; appropriate training can be provided to the right candidate. We believe this hands-on experience is an important part of becoming a successful Practice Manager. By working alongside the team and gaining firsthand experience in different positions within the practice, the manager will develop a deeper understanding of our workflows, responsibilities, challenges, and patient experience. This knowledge will allow the manager to more effectively supervise, train, support, and hold team members accountable because they will understand firsthand the responsibilities and expectations of the employees they oversee. As patient volume and staffing increase, the position is expected to progressively shift toward greater management and operational responsibilities. Key Management Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily clinic operations Supervise, support, train, and hold staff accountable Coordinate employee schedules and staffing needs Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations Monitor clinic workflow and identify opportunities for improvement Address employee and patient concerns professionally and promptly Track outstanding tasks and projects through completion Maintain appropriate policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance Coordinate vendors, supplies, equipment, and operational needs Work closely with the physician/owner on practice goals and priorities Develop systems that improve efficiency and patient experience Anticipate problems and proactively develop solutions Participate wherever needed to help the clinic operate successfully Assist with planning and executing the transition into our new Farmington Hills facility Help establish workflows and operational systems for the expanded clinic Help lead the practice through continued growth and expansion Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has demonstrated management and leadership experience Has medical practice or healthcare management experience, strongly preferred Is comfortable performing hands-on patient-care responsibilities Has previous allergy/immunology experience or experience administering injections, preferred but not required Is an exceptional multitasker Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills Has a confident and strong leadership presence Is professional and comfortable making decisions Has excellent organizational and time-management skills Takes initiative without requiring constant direction Holds themselves and others accountable Handles difficult conversations professionally Pays attention to details while understanding the bigger picture Consistently follows up and completes what they start Is willing to step outside of their primary role when the practice needs help Is comfortable working closely with a physician-owner Is excited about helping build systems, teams, and culture within a growing practice Wants to grow professionally as the practice grows What Success Looks Like We are looking for someone who sees a problem and thinks: "I'll take ownership of this, figure out what needs to happen, follow up, and make sure it gets done." We are building a team in which no task is beneath anyone . The physician, manager, clinical staff, and administrative team all contribute wherever needed to provide an exceptional experience for our patients. For our Practice Manager specifically, understanding the responsibilities of the people they supervise is essential. We believe the strongest leaders understand the work firsthand—not just from behind a desk. An Opportunity to Grow With Us This is a unique opportunity to join our practice during an important period of expansion. Our incoming Practice Manager will be joining us while we are preparing to transition into a brand-new, state-of-the-art Farmington Hills clinic featuring top-of-the-line finishes, modern clinical spaces, new furnishings and equipment, and a dedicated private manager's office . The right person will have an opportunity to help shape how the new clinic operates, contribute to the development of our team and workflows, and assume increasing leadership responsibility as the practice grows. We want someone who can eventually look at the practice and feel that they helped build it—not simply worked in it.
