Office Manager/Medical Billing and Coding Specialist

GCES is looking for a medical billing and coding specialist that is able to ensure health providers are paid for therapy services rendered. Specialists must be able to file insurance claims accurately and timely as well as complete credentialing applications and communicate effectively with insurance companies. This position requires the applicant to be responsible for the efficient flow of medical information and patient data between physicians, patients and third-party payers. This position includes other office management duties, such as answering the phone, scheduling, and handling referrals and other intakes. Applicant must be organized, detail-oriented, an effective time manager, and a good communicator. Personality traits must include compassionate, understanding, and flexible. The position is full-time, but part-time is available as well. Starting pay ranges from $15-20/hour depending on education and experience. Increases will be discussed after probationary period and annually thereafter.

Preferred:

Experience with individuals with special needs. Experience billing for various therapy services. Experience with accounting (QuickBooks).
