Job Description
Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to oversee Emergency Medicine and Neurology service lines. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational functions across assigned practices and partner hospitals. The Practice Manager will serve as a key liaison between physicians, advanced practice providers, hospital leadership, and internal departments, ensuring efficient operations, provider support, and high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for Emergency Medicine and Neurology practices Serve as the primary point of contact for providers, hospital administrators, and internal teams Support provider recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and scheduling Monitor staffing needs, coverage gaps, and operational priorities Coordinate provider schedules and ensure appropriate coverage Maintain strong relationships with hospital and clinical leadership Track operational metrics and support performance improvement initiatives Monitor documentation compliance and support billing and revenue cycle processes Prepare reports, dashboards, and operational updates Assist with department meetings, communications, and project tracking Address and escalate operational, staffing, or compliance concerns as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare operations, physician practice management, or hospital-based roles Experience working with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership preferred Emergency Department and/or Neurology practice experience strongly preferred Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple sites, providers, and priorities Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems Work Environment Full-time, primarily Monday-Friday schedule Flexibility required based on operational needs Occasional travel to affiliated hospitals and practice locations Why Join Physician Practice Enhancement Collaborative and team-oriented culture Opportunity to support critical healthcare services Exposure to both Emergency Medicine and Neurology service lines Meaningful impact on patient care operations and provider success Physician Practice Enhancement is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. 9a-5pm Monday through Friday (Responsible for department calls) 40 hours per week
