Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Back Office Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions within our busy collision repair shop. This pivotal role ensures smooth daily operations, effective team management, and seamless communication between departments. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining an efficient work environment. As a Back Office Manager, you will be the backbone of our bodyshop operations, driving productivity and fostering a positive workplace culture. Duties Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, filing, and clerical tasks to support the collision shop team Supervise administrative staff, providing training and development to enhance team performance Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring timely procurement of supplies and services necessary for shop operations Handle human resources responsibilities such as payroll processing, employee records management, and onboarding procedures Utilize QuickBooks or similar accounting software for bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial record keeping Coordinate calendar management for appointments, meetings, and deadlines to optimize workflow efficiency Maintain front desk operations with professional phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and excellent customer service skills Experience Proven supervisory experience in an office or administrative setting within an automotive repair or bodyshop environment Strong background in office management, including scheduling, vendor management, and human resources functions Experience with QuickBooks or comparable bookkeeping software is essential Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, perform basic bookkeeping tasks, and handle payroll processing Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational prowess to manage multiple priorities effectively Prior experience in medical office management or similar fields is a plus but not required Familiarity with event planning and training & development initiatives to foster team growth Join us to lead our back-office operations with energy and precision!
