Job Description

VCA Hualapai is seeking an Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our leadership team!
Pay range:
$29.00-31.00/hour
DOE Location:
1165 S. Hualapai Way Las Vegas 89117 Full-time, Wednesday-Saturday. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. These skills will include, but are not limited to:
  • Venipuncture
  • catheter placement
  • radiology
  • anesthesia monitoring
  • physical examinations and patient assessment
  • surgical preparation and assisting
  • dentistry
  • laboratory work
  • pharmacy
  • patient recovery
  • compassionate care for our hospitalized patients This is a working supervisory position which is responsible for the leadership and of the Veterinary Technician Staff. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Implementing department policies and procedures.
  • Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
  • Enforcing charge captures.
  • Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
  • Record keeping.
  • Marketing.
