In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, manage administrative teams, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining operational efficiency. Your leadership will drive the success of our hospital by fostering a collaborative environment, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the growth and excellence of our veterinary services through strategic management and dedicated team support. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of hospital operations, including medical management, office administration, and client relations to ensure smooth daily functioning. Supervise clinical staff, including veterinary nurses, administrative personnel, and support teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and other industry-specific requirements related to veterinary practice management. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic to maintain accurate medical records and facilitate seamless workflow. Coordinate with human resources for staffing needs, training programs, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Oversee inventory management for medical supplies and equipment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Implement utilization management strategies to optimize patient care pathways and manage managed care contracts effectively. Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, acute care procedures, and veterinary hospital protocols to support clinical excellence. Skills Proven experience in medical office management within healthcare or veterinary settings with strong supervisory skills. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards like JCAHO. Demonstrated ability in clinic or hospital management with experience in acute care or critical care environments preferred. Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising diverse teams in fast-paced settings; human resources experience is a plus. Familiarity with dental clinic operations or veterinary practice management systems is advantageous. Ability to develop strategic operational plans that enhance efficiency while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
