Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Assistant Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. This energetic leader will ensure the delivery of exceptional medical administrative support, optimize clinic workflows, and uphold compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision, driving efficiency and excellence across all aspects of practice management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape a high-performing medical team while maintaining a patient-centered environment that promotes quality care and operational success. Duties Manage and supervise medical administrative staff, including receptionists, medical assistants, and office personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment Oversee clinic operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate medical records management, and efficient appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic or Medent Implement and monitor fiscal management strategies including budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and revenue cycle management to ensure financial health of the practice Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and managed care policies Utilize practice management software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft to streamline administrative workflows and improve patient service delivery Coordinate human resources functions such as staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to build a high-performing team Oversee medical records accuracy, documentation standards, and ensure proper handling of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Monitor clinic performance metrics related to utilization management and acute care services to enhance quality outcomes Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration with demonstrated supervisory skills Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems including eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms Expertise in fiscal management practices such as budgeting, financial analysis, billing procedures, and revenue cycle oversight Background in nursing or medical administrative support within clinical settings; experience in acute care or hospital environments is highly desirable Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising diverse teams in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dental office operations or veterinary experience is a plus but not required Strong communication skills paired with proficiency in medical terminology and medical records management Join us as we strive to elevate healthcare delivery through innovative practice management! Pay:
$23.00 - $30.21 per hour
