Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Dental Regional Manager to lead our growing dental organization. This position will initially be based in Roslyn, New York, where the successful candidate will oversee daily operations, team development, and practice growth. As our organization continues to expand, this individual will play a key role in helping grow and support additional locations throughout Long Island and New York City. This is not a typical management position. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a positive attitude, high energy, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building systems, creating accountability, solving problems, and helping practices reach their full potential. They must be willing to put in the time and effort necessary to develop processes, implement new initiatives, and drive measurable results. Initially, this individual will be expected to work directly alongside our front desk team and be fully involved in the day-to-day operation of the practice. They must be comfortable answering phones, scheduling patients, managing treatment plans, handling insurance and financial arrangements, and assisting wherever needed to ensure the office runs smoothly. We are looking for someone who is willing to lead from the front and gain a complete understanding of our systems before helping scale them across multiple locations. The right person is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across multiple locations. They should have a proven track record of successfully overseeing dental practices, leading teams, improving performance, and contributing to practice growth through operational excellence and effective marketing strategies. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple dental practices. Initially serve as a working office leader within our Roslyn location, supporting front desk operations and helping establish best practices. Support office managers and team members to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient workflow. Develop, implement, and monitor systems and processes that improve operational performance. Track and improve key performance indicators including collections, production, treatment acceptance, new patient growth, hygiene retention, and schedule utilization. Work closely with ownership to execute growth initiatives and support future expansion. Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training team members. Hold office leadership accountable through regular reporting, meetings, and performance reviews. Help develop and oversee marketing initiatives to increase new patient acquisition and patient retention. Ensure consistency in systems, protocols, and standards across all locations. Identify operational challenges and implement solutions quickly and effectively. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable dental regulations. Travel regularly between office locations throughout Long Island and New York City. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of multi-location dental management experience. Proven experience managing multiple dental practices simultaneously. Hands-on experience working at the front desk of a dental practice, including scheduling, insurance verification, treatment presentation, collections, and patient communication. Strong understanding of dental practice operations, scheduling, insurance, collections, treatment planning, and patient flow. Demonstrated experience with dental marketing, patient acquisition, and growth initiatives. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion. Comfortable developing new systems and holding teams accountable for execution. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Willingness to be actively involved in practice operations and growth efforts. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who leads by example, brings positive energy to the workplace, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. This person should be hardworking, dependable, organized, and committed to helping build a best-in-class dental organization. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace challenges, and be excited by the opportunity to help grow a dental group throughout Long Island and New York City. Most importantly, this is a hands-on leadership role. We are not looking for someone who wants to manage from an office. We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, work alongside the team, build systems from the ground up, and help create the foundation for a growing multi-location dental organization.
