The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of optics, and retail sales, combined with strong leadership abilities. As an Optical Manager, you will oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service. Your role is vital in maintaining high standards of eyewear fitting, laboratory work, and patient care while fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and clients. Duties Supervise optical staff, including opticians and technicians Manage inventory of eyewear frames, lenses, and optical supplies Oversee the operation of POS systems and cash register functions to facilitate smooth transactions while maintaining financial accuracy. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries regarding optical services and eyewear options. Experience Proven experience in retail optometry Experience in retail sales within an optical environment, including sales techniques for eyewear frames and spectacle lenses. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory management, retail math, and billing processes accurately.
