This pivotal role combines administrative expertise with healthcare management, ensuring smooth clinic functioning, exceptional patient experiences, and compliance with all health regulations. As the driving force behind clinic efficiency, you will oversee staff supervision, financial management, and patient care coordination—empowering our team to deliver top-tier dental services in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the dental practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction. Supervise and support healthcare staff, including dental assistants, hygienists, administrative personnel, and other team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Oversee fiscal management duties such as budgeting, medical billing, financial reporting, and ensuring revenue cycle efficiency using Dentrix. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and state/federal health policies. Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR) systems management to guarantee data integrity and confidentiality. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and manage medical administrative support tasks effectively. Implement human resources practices related to staffing, training, performance evaluations, and managing healthcare staff to foster professional growth. Utilize patient management software and EMR/EHR systems for scheduling, billing, documentation, and reporting purposes. Monitor clinic operations for quality assurance and process improvements while managing office supplies and equipment maintenance. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a dental setting. Extensive knowledge of dental office procedures combined with strong familiarity with Dentrix and Weave. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a healthcare environment with excellent managerial communication skills. Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, medical billing, and revenue cycle management. Hands-on experience with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA regulations and JCAHO accreditation processes. Strong understanding of Dental terminology, medical records management, and healthcare practice policies. Prior clinic experience involving acute or critical care settings is advantageous but not mandatory; a solid foundation in healthcare administration is essential.
