Business Office Manager Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of Medical Billing experience required. Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred. Experience with Point Click Care preferred.
Business Office Manager Job Summary:
Daily, accurate recording and reporting of facility census. Managing the resident billing process and reimbursement for services. Cash posting in the Point Click Care software system for self-pay and resident pay accounts. Maintaining residents' personal needs account; petty cash, providing banking hours, paying bills on behalf of residents, posting charges, sending statements of account, balancing and reconciling bank statements. Researching credits, write up of refund requests and submission for payment to facility bookkeeper. Managing Medicaid applications and receipt of funds process. Maintaining an up-to-date filing system for cash receipts, accounts receivable, residents' financial information and personal needs funds to ensure ready-access to needed information. Maintaining close contact with resident responsible parties, Medicaid case workers and the facility Billing Specialists at the centralized Revenue Cycle Center.
