With over 25 years of experience and a strong ethical foundation, we're expanding into the Texas market and building a high-performing sales team to support our growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, strategic account management, and driving revenue growth across an assigned territory.
What You'll Do:
Account Ownership & Retention Serve as the single point of contact for all assigned Texas accounts. Manage and resolve cases generated on account labels. Develop structured account plans for top clients, engaging stakeholders at multiple levels (executive sponsors, daily users, financial decision-makers). Expansion & Growth Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (expanded services, new locations, add-on programs). Execute a repeatable expansion playbook to increase revenue per account year over year. Leverage "land and expand" strategies to grow small accounts into statewide partnerships. Predictable Pipeline Development Maintain consistent outreach to dormant or low-activity accounts. Build and execute referral campaigns from satisfied clients. Run account retention initiatives to sustain long-term client relationships. Customer Success & Experience Ensure Texas clients receive exceptional service delivery and rapid issue resolution. Conduct regular reviews with top accounts. Gather client feedback to inform product/service improvements. Internal Collaboration Partner with Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service excellence. Share market intelligence-including competitor activity, industry shifts, and client needs-with leadership. Align account strategies with company revenue goals alongside Sales Leadership.What You Bring:
Experience in outside sales, account management, or business development- preferably in pet care, veterinary services, or related industries. Proven track record in growing and retaining client accounts. Strong relationship-building skills and comfort engaging stakeholders at multiple levels. Ability to strategize and execute account plans while managing multiple priorities. Comfortable using CRM systems to track activity, opportunities, and client engagement.
