Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the Front Office Manager position. We are looking for hard working individuals with excellent work ethic and leadership skills. The Front Office Manager supports the General Manager with daily operational functions. This individual will be responsible for ensuring corporate and brand standard compliance, guest satisfaction, asset protection and optimal property performance.
Key duties include:
responding to inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, assistance in the resolution of guest complaints, active participation in checking in/checking out guests, processing accounts payable, coordinating between departments, training staff, inspecting rooms for cleanliness and monitoring overall property condition. In this role, the Front Office Manager will act as the General Manager in their absence. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Direct and supervise all Front Office operations and Food and Beverage operations efficiently and profitably while reflecting a courteous and hospitable manner Work with all departments to ensure a great guest experience Perform room and ground inspections on a daily basis Maintain Front Office supplies inventories Maintain positive employee relations and work to build team cohesiveness Act as Manager on Duty when General Manager is off of property Encourage positive guest relations and develop professional and hospitable relationship with hotel guests Maintain control over reservations (current and future) and room inventory Learn all brand procedures and gain knowledge in all aspects of the property management system Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner Must be available 24/7 and have reliable transportation Ensure staff are following the correct procedures and operating at optimal levels Ensure implementation of all policies and house rules Establish and maintain attentive, friendly, courteous and efficient hospitality at the Front Desk and Breakfast Respond to all guests' requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the Front Desk in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction Work with Front Desk with check-ins and check-outs Work closely with Housekeeping regarding daily room status and scheduling room cleaning Place orders for hotel supplies including items for the snack shop and breakfast Oversees training process for front desk agents and breakfast attendants Reviews various front desk reports to ensure payments are accurately being collected Monitors Hilton Guest surveys as well as reviews from other third-party sites Responsible for submitting weekly hotel invoices to accounting and mailing out checks to vendors Responsible for ensuring front desk team are asking all non-Hilton-Honor members to enroll at check-in to reach brand required enrollment quota Creating agenda for monthly front desk meetings and administering meetings Required to occasionally fill front desk, night audit, and breakfast shifts for call-outs or periods when hotel may be short-staffedPrevious Experience:
Experience as a hotel Supervisor/Manager is preferred! A proven track record with a superior level of guest service is a must. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling and associate satisfaction. Previous Hilton/PEP experience a plus!- Must be available to work weekends.
