We serve children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families throughout New Jersey. Our clinicians work from a beautifully designed office in Teaneck, NJ, intentionally created to provide a calm, welcoming, and emotionally supportive setting for both clients and therapists. Position Overview We are seeking clinicians who have experience, training, or strong interest in working with: Children and adolescents Young adults Families and parents Neurodivergent populations Anxiety and mood disorders School-related concerns Emotional regulation challenges Identity development Relationship difficulties Trauma and attachment-related concerns This role is primarily focused on in-person psychotherapy in our Teaneck office , with limited hybrid flexibility available as caseload develops. Clinicians should be comfortable building meaningful therapeutic relationships with both younger clients and their families. Caseload Development Philosophy Avita iCare provides meaningful support to help clinicians build and sustain a caseload, including intake coordination, marketing, referral development, supervision, consultation, and guidance on developing a clear clinical niche. At the same time, successful caseload growth is a collaborative process. While the practice provides infrastructure and referral opportunities, clinicians are expected to take an active role in developing their professional presence, clinical reputation, responsiveness, schedule availability, and areas of specialization. This position is best suited for clinicians who are motivated, reliable, growth-oriented, and interested in learning how to build a sustainable clinical practice - not only clinicians seeking to be passively assigned clients. Avita iCare does not guarantee a specific number of referrals, clients, or clinical hours. However, we actively support clinicians in growing toward a strong and sustainable caseload through mentorship, marketing support, supervision, administrative infrastructure, internal collaboration with colleagues and strategic guidance. We provide the infrastructure, mentorship, and referral support; clinicians bring the clinical engagement, reliability, responsiveness, and initiative needed to grow. QualificationsRequired LMSW, LAC, Postdoctoral Permit, LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or PhD eligible to practice in New Jersey Ability to maintain an in-person caseload in Teaneck, NJ Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional documentation and organizational abilities Passion for working with children, adolescents, and/or young adults Reliability, responsiveness, and willingness to actively participate in caseload development Preferred Experience working with children, teens, or families Training in CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, attachment-based, ACT, ERP, play therapy, or trauma-informed approaches Experience supporting neurodivergent populations Experience collaborating with schools, pediatricians, or outside providers After-school or evening availability Bilingual or multilingual clinicians strongly encouraged to apply What Makes Avita Different?
