Led by Dr. Lisa Morris, MD, FACOG, MSCP —a board-certified gynecologist and certified menopause specialist with over 30 years of clinical experience—our practice delivers both in-person care in Ann Arbor and virtual telehealth care across Michigan. As an expanding practice in-network with major insurance providers (BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, Aetna) alongside self-pay options, we are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Part-Time Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and elevate our administrative workflows. Position Overview & Schedule This is a flexible, part-time hybrid role requiring approximately 20 hours per week .
In-Office:
1 designated day per week at our Ann Arbor office (2020 Hogback Rd).
Remote:
Remaining hours completed virtually on a mutually agreed-upon schedule. The Practice Manager serves as the operational backbone of our practice. In this role, you will maintain a dual reporting relationship , working directly with Dr. Lisa Morris on patient care integration and clinical flow, while collaborating closely with our Practice Management Consultant on operational strategy, billing workflows, revenue cycle optimization, and systems implementation. Key Responsibilities1. Practice Operations & Workflow Management Manage administrative workflows for both in-person and telehealth appointment days. Collaborate with the Practice Consultant to refine operational protocols, update administrative procedures, and track key practice performance metrics. Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for IT software systems, facility logistics, supply management, and external vendor relations. 2. Patient Experience & Engagement Maintain high standards of patient communication—overseeing voicemail, web inquiry forms, and portal messages promptly and warmly. Manage patient intake, scheduling verification, and follow-up communication. Address and resolve patient inquiries or operational concerns with empathy and professionalism. 3. Revenue Cycle & EHR Management Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) to manage patient records, scheduling, template optimization, and communication modules. Partner with the Practice Consultant and external billing partners to monitor insurance verification, billing submissions, claim rejections, and collections. Manage patient copays, deductibles, invoicing, and self-pay transaction processing. 4. Compliance & Administrative Standards Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, state medical board regulations, and patient confidentiality guidelines. Maintain clean, audit-ready medical records and consent documentation within eCW.
Qualifications & Requirements EHR Expertise:
eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience is strongly preferred. Hands-on familiarity with eCW scheduling, practice management, and patient portal navigation.
Experience:
3+ years of healthcare management or administrative management experience in an outpatient clinical setting (experience in Women's Health, OB/GYN, or boutique specialty care is a plus).
Billing Knowledge:
Solid working knowledge of medical billing workflows, insurance verification, CPT/ICD-10 coding basics, and revenue cycle monitoring.
Remote Capabilities:

Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent communication skills, with the agility to report effectively to both a clinical leader (Dr. Morris) and an operational leader (Practice Consultant).
