This role manages administrative staff, coordinates scheduling and billing, and serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, and vendors. For this position candidate must have at least 2 years of Dental Office Management experience, preferably with a larger practice. Key Responsibilities Office Operations Manage day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the practice Develop and maintain efficient scheduling, patient flow, and office procedures Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements Oversee office supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships Staff Management Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate front office and administrative staff Create staff schedules and manage time-off requests Foster a positive, professional, and patient-focused team culture Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews Patient Relations Ensure a high standard of customer service and patient satisfaction Address patient concerns, complaints, and billing questions professionally Support front desk staff with complex scheduling or insurance issues Financial & Billing Oversight Oversee billing, insurance verification, claims submission, and collections Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports Assist with budgeting, payroll coordination, and expense control Provider Support Work closely with dentists and clinical staff to optimize schedules Support production goals and practice growth initiatives Assist with implementation of new systems, software, or procedures Work Environment Fast-paced dental office setting Primarily administrative with frequent patient and staff interaction Full-time- Monday-Friday Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred) 2-5 years of experience in dental office management required Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and practice management systems Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Denticon) Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Financial literacy and comfort with reports and metrics Professional, patient-centered attitude Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Pet insurance Referral program Vision insurance
