Job Summary Responsible for the management of up to three providers. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or Associate's Degree and 4 years experience in office practice environment at a supervisory level required Work Experience 1 year experience working in a medical practice environment with one year experience at a supervisory level required 1 year experience of insurance and reimbursement, CPT codes, ICD codes, and Medicare/Medicaid compliance procedures preferred 1 year of supervisory experience in a medical practice required Licenses and Certifications NA Essential Functions Demonstrate the ability to function in an administrative role. Develop and manage departmental budget. Seek ways to increase revenue while decreasing expenses. Demonstrate the ability to communicate financial data to physicians, director, and (or) senior staff. Demonstrate an overall understanding of financial data. Demonstrate the ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of department. Demonstrate the ability to hold department accountable for overall performance. Demonstrate the ability to communicate in a professional manner. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians. Hold staff members accountable for communicating professionally. Act as a resource person within the department regarding communication skills. Additional Duties Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines. Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization. Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures. Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs). Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time. Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
