We believe a great practice starts with great leadership, and we're looking for a Front Office Manager who can help lead our team while ensuring an outstanding experience for every patient. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our practice. This individual will lead the front office team while providing operational oversight to our Front Office, Dental Assistants, and Hygienists, ensuring seamless communication between all departments. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with dental front office experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating a positive patient and team experience. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient care. Lead, coach, and support the Front Office, Dental Assistants, and Hygienists. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture. Manage the daily schedule to maximize provider productivity while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Ensure patients receive outstanding service from check-in through check-out. Verify insurance benefits, review treatment estimates, discuss financial arrangements, and assist patients with questions regarding their treatment plans. Oversee patient accounts, billing, collections, and payment processing. Monitor office performance and identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency. Coordinate communication between doctors, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of team members. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies. Support practice growth through excellent customer service, patient retention, and operational excellence. Handle patient concerns professionally and work to resolve issues in a timely manner. Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of dental front office experience is required. Candidates without dental front office experience will not be considered. Previous dental office leadership or management experience strongly preferred. Experience supervising or leading both administrative and clinical teams is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, treatment planning, billing, collections, scheduling, and patient financial arrangements. Experience with Dentrix (preferred) or other dental practice management software. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. High school diploma or equivalent required.
