Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Area Manager will support and oversee day-to-day operations of the practices with full P&L responsibility. The successful candidate will work directly with the sites to improve processes & profitability, including identifying and implementing local growth initiatives. The individual will build and maintain exceptional relationships with doctors, practice managers and their teams. This will extend to new practices as they are acquired. This is also an opportunity to frequently travel in the field to support business decisions, leadership development, and operational efficiency (all critical to success). The Area Manager will balance the need for preserving each unique practice culture and brand, while ensuring future positive growth and innovation.Responsibilities:
Supports strategic direction provided by Director Strong partnership with SDP partners - HR, Finance, Marketing to ensure best practice throughout their area Build relationships and trust with doctors, Practice Managers and their teams Create schedule of practice visits to consistently show up in person and spend time with each time First point of contact for practice level teams, ability to demonstrate self-awareness by asking the right questions to dig into the root of the issue and take appropriate partners if needed for next steps. Follow through on action items and next steps, with appropriate partners, as applicable Ability to keep emotions out of factual decision making De-escalating "urgent matters" from the practice level to give time to dig for details, involve appropriate partners, and make decisions consistent with the rest of the organization.Mentor and train Practice Managers on day-to-day operations, process improvement, best practices, etc. by conducting weekly visits.
