We are seeking a full-time Dental Practice Manager to join our beautiful, technology-forward general dental practice in Rutherford County, TN. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in healthcare management, ensuring that our office runs smoothly while providing exceptional patient care. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient workflows, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks. Supervise and train office staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service. Oversee patient records management and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with dental professionals to optimize practice management and patient care processes. Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Manage billing processes, including insurance verification and collections. Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment; place orders as necessary. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and promote teamwork. Ensure the practice adheres to managed care protocols and maintains quality standards in service delivery. Skills Proven experience in medical administrative support within a dental or healthcare setting. Ability to accurately file dental insurance claims and post insurance payments. Strong knowledge of managed care practices and healthcare management principles. Proficient in office management techniques and practice management software such as Eaglesoft. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. Solid understanding of medical management principles, including fiscal management practices. Ability to handle critical care situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of office operations. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
