Job Description
Job Summary Responsible for the overall clinical operations and general oversight of staff management across the UMC El Paso Healthcare, Inc. practice network. Ensures interdisciplinary collaboration among Associates, leadership and provider colleagues to develop the necessary processes and infrastructure. Collaborates with the management team to set departmental priorities in accordance with overall organizational goals and departmental objectives. Key initiatives include clinical practice operations, scheduling personnel and staff, training, and standardized documentation, all achieved through the implementation of the necessary policies, procedures and programming to ensure a consistent experience with care and support. Brings a balance of strategic thinking, directing teams and hands-on execution. Responsible for monthly monitoring of financial results, variance reporting and actions plans to meet established goals. Monitors outcome measures and shares variances with Associates for continuous process improvement in the clinical area. Minimum Position Requirements Work Experience Three years of supervisory/management experience required, preferable in a clinical setting or a large medical multispecialty group. License/Registration/Certification None Education and Training Bachelor degree in Business related field required. Master of Business or Healthcare Administration highly preferred. Skills Ability to foster and facilitate collaborative interpersonal relationships. Calculates risks associated with an anticipated action. Ability to facilitate transitions through sound process improvement methodologies. Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict. Willingness to embrace change and manage it effectively. Ability to foster and implement team-building strategies. Skill in the use of computer systems and related software applications. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
