- Oversee the overall operations of the medical office, including patient flow, and scheduling.
- Supervise and manage a team of medical office staff, including administrative assistants and medical assistants.
- Establishes work schedules and assignments for staff based on workload and ensures adequate coverage.
- Ensure that all medical records are properly maintained, stored, and confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all medical office equipment and systems are in good working order and maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical office software and systems.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure that patient care is delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
- Manage and coordinate the hiring process for new staff members, including interviews, and performance reviews.
- Maintain inventory of all medical and office supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the practice. Skills
- Strong background in medical management.
- Experience working in a medical office setting.
- Proficiency in medical office systems, including electronic medical records (EMRs) Athena experience a plus.
- Experience in supervising and managing a team of medical office staff.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00- $60,000.
