You will function as an essential part of the hospital management team, collaborating closely with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the hospital. Your role will drive revenue, manage costs, and cultivate a hospital culture focused on top-notch patient care and exceptional customer service. You will oversee the planning and coordination of hospital operations while creating a supportive and cohesive team environment. Oversee daily hospital operations and workflow Lead, support, and develop the hospital's administrative and support teams Partner with veterinarians and hospital leadership on operational priorities and strategic initiatives Support recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee development Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture Monitor practice performance, financial metrics, and operational efficiencies Help develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes that support continued growth Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction and service excellence Coordinate hospital resources, equipment, inventory, and vendor relationships Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and hospital standards Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience Previous veterinary practice management, healthcare management, or related leadership experience required Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience leading and developing teams A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong business and operational acumen Experience with equine veterinary medicine or a strong understanding of the equine industry preferred #LI-DH1
