Position Overview As the Veterinary CSR , you will play a key role in creating a smooth and efficient front desk operation. Your exceptional communication and organizational skills will ensure that clients have a positive experience every time they visit. You will work closely with the veterinary team to manage appointments, maintain patient records, and provide essential support to both clients and staff. Additionally, you'll be responsible for supervising and training other receptionists, fostering a collaborative and positive front desk environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations:
Greet clients with a friendly, welcoming attitude and provide exceptional customer service.Appointment Scheduling:
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits in a timely manner.Patient Records:
Maintain accurate patient records, including checking in and out clients, processing payments, and updating information as necessary.Administrative Support:
Scan, fax, and file medical records, forms, and requests, ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible.Client Education:
Educate clients on veterinary medications, procedures, and aftercare instructions, answering any questions they may have.Multitasking & Efficiency:
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, including answering phone calls, checking in clients, and assisting with urgent needs.Team Collaboration:
Assist veterinary technicians and doctors with clerical duties, such as completing and routing necessary forms related to your area of responsibility.Supervision & Training:
Lead and train other receptionists, ensuring that front desk staff are following all procedures and maintaining high standards of client care.General Support:
Provide help wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations, including assisting in other areas of the clinic when required.Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a veterinaryCSR Computer Proficiency:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Experience with AviMark Veterinary Software is a plus!Multitasking:
Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while maintaining a calm, positive demeanor under pressure.Communication Skills:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Organizational Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, ensuring all client and patient information is accurate and up-to-date.Bilingual:
Bilingual (Spanish preferred) is a plus!Positive Attitude:
