What You'll Do:
Responsible for supporting the paraprofessional staff in implementing the outlined policies and procedures, utilizing integrated technology, and managing the practice operational functions. Work with regional and corporate leadership to provide support and continuous development for the practice team. Provide staff management with a primary responsibility of overseeing their operational performance and coordinate work schedules for the team. Demonstrate team support and care for others' work experiences by conducting staff reviews, handling their concerns, and mentoring Team Members with their career development. Lead team coordination of inventory cycle counts and fulfill inventory needs requests. Engage with clients to ensure they receive the ultimate treatment and resolve conflicts or complaints. Ensure the equipment and clinic are well maintained, and OSHA guidelines are followed. Guide team with following the practice's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standards of Care (SOC); review SOPs and practice metrics to help improving their performance. Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and Team Members. Be a PIMS administrative super-user and provide assistance to others on the team in their use of the technology. Act responsibly giving the pharmacy holdings of the practice. Participation in self-development courses and Chewy Vet Care required compliance training. Perform related duties and assignments by management. Oversee operating, safety, and compliance procedures as required by applicable law and Chewy Vet Care processes and policies. Position may require some travel.
What You'll Need :
Successful completion of the CVPM program and current certification is preferred. Ability to meet the qualifications for the CVPM designation. 3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager in practice 2 years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred Experience mentoring and leading others. Ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion. Ability to manage conflict resolution. Excellent verbal / written communication, observational, and analytical skills Thrive in a fast paced, self-starter environment.
Physical Job Requirements:
Standing or walking up to 80% per shift. Frequently lift up 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift. Occasionally lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.
