Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, and motivated Dental Office Manager to lead our front office operations and help keep our practice running smoothly. As our Office Manager, you will serve as the heart of our practice—ensuring our patient care experience is top-notch while maintaining efficient administrative and financial operations. This position offers a great work-life balance with a 4-day work week (approx. 35 hours per week)!
Key Responsibilities Personnel Leadership:
Foster a supportive, upbeat team culture through effective leadership, open communication, and excellent personnel management.Scheduling Optimization:
Oversee productive, effective patient scheduling to maximize patient care while ensuring smooth practice flow.Financial & Collections Management:
Lead prompt, proactive financial collections and manage patient accounts with tact, professionalism, and care.Insurance Billing:
Handle timely and accurate insurance billing, claims processing, and follow-ups to minimize outstanding receivables.Cost & Office Management:
Practice responsible cost management by monitoring office overhead, managing supply orders, and optimizing administrative workflows.Patient Experience:
Greet patients with a warm smile, address questions, and uphold our commitment to stellar customer service.Desired Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Prior experience in office management is preferred. Background or experience within the dental field is highly preferred.Financial & Administrative Acumen:
Strong familiarity with dental/medical insurance billing, collections, and scheduling strategies.Leadership & Communication:
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach, and support team members effectively.Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar) and general administrative tools.Desired Traits Upbeat & Positive:
