Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy dental clinic. In this pivotal role, you will oversee administrative functions, manage staff, and optimize practice efficiency. Your leadership will foster a positive patient experience while maintaining high standards of clinical and administrative excellence. Duties Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation to ensure smooth daily functions Supervise and support healthcare staff, including dental assistants, hygienists, administrative personnel, and other team members Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control Ensure compliance with health regulation policies, HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and other relevant regulations Utilize practice management software Eaglesoft for patient records, billing, and scheduling Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) in accordance with legal standards Implement human resources practices including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives Monitor clinic performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and operational efficiency Facilitate communication between clinical staff and administrative teams to promote a cohesive work environment Coordinate with external vendors or insurance providers for managed care processes and billing inquiries Qualifications Proven experience managing a healthcare or dental practice with strong supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of medical office management systems such as Eaglesoft Demonstrated fiscal management expertise including budgeting, financial analysis, and medical billing procedures Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical records management practices Experience in managing teams within a healthcare setting—excellent managerial communication skills essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and administrative tasks Knowledge of health regulation policies related to dental clinics and healthcare practice management Ability to handle complex scheduling and patient management software efficiently Prior experience in dental office is required.
