Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with energy and enthusiasm. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and deliver exceptional patient experiences. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a positive work environment, and uphold the highest standards of dental office management. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental office staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists, to ensure smooth daily operations Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing processes using EMR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks Oversee medical administrative support functions including medical records management, medical terminology accuracy, and HIPAA compliance Ensure clinic compliance with health regulation policies and JCAHO standards while maintaining high-quality patient care Utilize healthcare management tools such as Epic or Managed Care systems to optimize practice workflows and patient scheduling Implement human resources practices including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and team development for a cohesive team environment Maintain knowledge of medical office procedures related to acute care, hospital experience, or veterinary experience as applicable to enhance practice versatility Requirements Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong understanding of dental clinic operations Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams within a healthcare setting Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of health regulation policies such as HIPAA and JCAHO standards Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial oversight, and managed care processes Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records (EHR) systems Experience with office management tasks such as human resources functions, medical administrative support, and compliance monitoring Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring acute care or hospital experience is a plus Join us in leading a vibrant dental practice where your expertise will elevate patient care while fostering a supportive team environment.
