Job Description

Veterinary Practice Manager (Team Development and Hospital Operations) Full Time On-Site 4-
Day Work Week Company Overview :
We are a well-established single-doctor companion animal practice located just outside of the Tri-Cities, WA. Role Summary :
The Veterinary Practice Manager will partner closely with the Medical Director to develop hospital systems, support team growth, and guide the practice's long-term operational success. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has a track record of improving team accountability, developing people, and building efficient systems. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable setting clear expectations and addressing challenges early on.
Schedule:
Four days per week:
Tuesday-Friday Hours:
7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$35/hour depending on qualifications and experience

Annual bonus potential 401(k) with employer match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and vacation pay Continuing Education stipend and leadership development Pet care discount Key Responsibilities HR and Team Leadership Hire, onboard, and train new team members; coach CSR, technicians, and veterinary assistants Conduct performance reviews and accountability conversations Foster a collaborative, respectful, and engaged team environment Support staff growth, skill development, and continuing education Manage client relations professionally and promptly Ensure health, safety, and privacy protocols Align staffing with patient flow and service standards Hospital Operations Manage daily workflow, staffing, and scheduling efficiency Develop and refine systems that improve workflow, communication, and consistency of care Maintain smooth day-to-day operations, facilities, and equipment maintenance Develop and execute strategic growth plans Ensure medical records standards and hospital protocols are followed Maintain regulatory compliance Financial & Performance (evolving) Financial management currently overseen by Medical Director and veterinary CPA; the role may take on additional responsibilities in the future such as: Monitoring key metrics (revenue, payroll %, inventory, transaction charges) Purchasing and inventory oversight Creating action plans to improve financial performance Qualifications Required 2+ years of management experience in a veterinary environment Bachelor's degree Preferred Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) LVT/RVT/CVT or equivalent valued Equivalent combinations of education, certification, training, and/or experience considered How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant veterinary management experience.
