The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing dental office systems, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with managed care protocols. This role is crucial for maintaining a smooth workflow and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental office staff to ensure efficient operations. Manage patient calls, scheduling, billing, and insurance verification processes using dental office systems such as Dentrix. Ensure compliance with managed care policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of patient care. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations. Implement and maintain office protocols to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline workflows. Assist in training new staff members on office procedures and systems. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and address any concerns related to critical care. Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatment plans, and financial transactions. Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within a dental office or clinic setting is required. Proficiency in dental management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft is required. Strong understanding of managed care processes and medical management practices. Experience in critical care environments is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with dental insurance billing and claims processing. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
