PM Pay Range:
$22-$24 per hour Join Our Healthcare Team Sun Harbor Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Clerk to support our clinical and administrative teams by maintaining accurate, secure, and compliant medical records. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of resident health information while supporting quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Respond to medical record requests from insurance companies, Medicare/Medicaid, the VA, and other authorized parties in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assemble, code, sign, index, and file medical records accurately Audit and review electronic health records (EHR) for completeness and accuracy Maintain confidentiality and safeguard protected health information (PHI) Assist with ICD-10 coding for billing and PDPM compliance Coordinate retrieval and delivery of records within the facility Prepare charts for new residents and update resident profiles per policy Fulfill authorized copy requests in accordance with legal and facility standards Track physician certifications and recertifications Support departments by ensuring documentation is accurate and complete Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical records or health information preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage confidential information responsibly Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare documentation preferred On-the-job training provided Benefits Comprehensive Medical & Dental Coverage Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Recognition Program Supportive, team-oriented work environment Company perks and employee discounts Ready to Apply?
