We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client's medical facility!
Position DetailsSchedule:
Full TimeShifts:
8-hour day shifts (some weekend availability may be required depending on facility needs)
Status:
Contract Position (flexibility with availability is a plus)Job DutiesMaintaining, retrieving, and processing electronic and physical patient health records accurately and securely.
Ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA laws, facility guidelines, and state regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Auditing medical files for completeness, proper documentation, and necessary signatures.
Responding to authorized requests for medical information and record releases in a timely manner.
Processing incoming medical correspondence, lab results, and external records for inmate-patient files.
Assisting clinical staff with scheduling appointments, filing, data entry, and other administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or Medical Records Certification is a plus).
1+ year of relevant experience in medical records, health information management, or medical office administration.
Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems, and HIPAA regulations.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy.
