Medical Records - Join Our Team at Spring River Rehabilitation and Care Center At Spring River Rehabilitation and Care Center, our mission is simple: "To Make Residents Feel Cared For." We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Records professional to join our team in Roswell, NM. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of our patients' medical information.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently maintain, update, and retrieve patient medical records in a timely and confidential manner Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to medical records management Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to resolve medical record discrepancies and answer questions Perform quality control measures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of medical records Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to established policies and procedures Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities to improve medical records management processes
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; medical records or related experience preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
