Job Description

The Seva Law Firm is a plaintiffs-side litigation firm (primarily personal injury) that was listed as one of Crain's Magazine's Cool Places to Work in 2018. Our firm employs passionate, highly motivated individuals who work well in a team environment, are computer savvy, communicate effectively, and strive to produce high-quality work. We are currently hiring a Medical Records Clerk to assist the Litigation Manager with a wide variety of tasks.
Responsibilities Include:
Ordering medical records and bills Reviewing and organizing medical records, billing statements, and claims file materials Cross-referencing claims files, EOBs, pleadings, and witness lists to ensure all medical providers are accurately identified Ensuring all medical records and outstanding bills related to the client's accident are obtained and properly accounted for Working with large volumes of documentation—often consisting of thousands of pages—requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through This role requires a high level of accuracy and organization, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Job Qualifications:
1 year of legal experience preferred but not required Ability to accurately process a variety of tasks and manage a high volume of work Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to identify, prioritize, and solve problems effectively Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines Effective communication skills Strong commitment to quality and client service Regular, predictable attendance is essential
