Chart Swap Specialist Job Overview:

Process attorney and legal requests for medical billing and records, including LOAs, subpoenas, affidavits, and balance verifications. Ensure HIPAA compliance and communicate with legal teams through the Chart Swap system as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process legal requests for HIPAA compliance Verify patient information in the IDX system Process subpoenas and shipment-pending requests daily Follow processing timelines based on date received Communicate with attorneys/legal assistants when additional information is required

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 6+ months medical insurance experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Detail-oriented with ability to work independently 6+ months medical insurance experience preferred
