Medical Records & Chart Clerk Location:
San Antonio, TX Pay:
$15.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00

Part-Time or Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our administrative team. This entry-level opportunity is perfect for someone looking to begin a career in the healthcare field. In this role, you will help ensure surgeons and specialists have accurate, organized, and complete patient information prior to each appointment. If you enjoy organization, structure, and working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, this may be a great fit for you. Prior medical experience is required. We are looking for someone who can quickly learn new systems and adapt to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Prepare and organize patient charts for upcoming appointments Ensure all required documentation (audiograms, CT scans, lab results, etc.) is included File paper documents and upload digital records into the EMR system Audit charts for missing signatures or incomplete forms to support HIPAA compliance Retrieve records promptly for physicians and clinical staff Assist with scanning, faxing, and general administrative support as needed Qualifications Quick learner with the ability to grasp new software and medical terminology Highly organized with strong attention to detail Reliable with consistent attendance and professional demeanor High level of integrity and confidentiality (HIPAA training provided) High School Diploma or GED required If you are motivated and ready to join a great team, Apply Now!
