Job Description
Medical Records Full-Time | Marion, Virginia Join Francis Marion Manor Health & Rehabilitation

Responsibilities include:
Maintain and organize resident medical records in both electronic and paper formats. Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Process admissions, discharges, and record requests. File physician orders, reports, and other clinical documentation promptly. Assist with audits, surveys, and record reviews. Protect resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, admissions, and administrative staff to ensure timely documentation. Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications. Medical Records Requirements Previous experience in medical records, health information management, or healthcare administration preferred. Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
